This Asahi Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50mm f/1.4 is a fast vintage M42 prime for photographers who want a classic manual-focus 50mm lens. Its f/1.4 maximum aperture gives extra light for dimmer scenes and allows shallow depth of field when desired. Made in Japan, this is the 1971–1972 Super-Multi-Coated version with an M42 screw mount and manual focus. It was designed for 35mm M42 SLR cameras and can also be used for adapted manual-focus photography with the correct camera-specific adapter. The lens has been tested and is fully functional.
