The Hitachi DZ-MV550A is a Japanese-made DVD camcorder featuring 18x optical zoom, a flip-out LCD screen, and direct recording to compact DVD media. DVD-RAM discs can be reused and edited in the camcorder, while finalized DVD-R discs are compatible with suitable DVD playback equipment. IMPORTANT: This camcorder uses 8 cm DVD-RAM and 8 cm DVD-R discs only. It does not support DVD-RW, DVD+RW, or DVD+R discs.
